Treatments & Fees for Clinical Psychology
As part of our commitment to providing accessible and quality health care, Moreland Road Clinic sets the fees for our services well below the recommended rates by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Standard Session (50 minutes)
The fee for a standard session is $150 ($135 concession).
There is a $10 surcharge for appointments after 5pm and on weekends.

Short Session (at Moreland Road Clinic) 30 minutes $70 ($60 concession)
Standard Session (home visit) 50 minutes $180 ($160 concession)
Short Session (home visit) 30 minutes $130 ($120 concession)

Telephone & Email Sessions
Telephone & email sessions are available. These are prearranged telephone calls or emails that have been discussed as part of a treatment plan.
The fee is on a pro rata basis, with the first ten (10) minutes being free, and thereafter $3 for every subsequent minute (e.g., a 20 minute telephone session or email will cost $30, a 30 minute telephone session or email will cost $60). The fee is for the psychologists' time. There is no cost for any emails that you write to your psychologist.
You will not be charged for telephone and email communication without prior agreement between you and your psychologist. Telephone and email communication that is not part of an agreed prearranged sessions are not charged (e.g., moving an appointment).
There is no Medicare refund available for telephone or email sessions.
Please note that there is no bulk-billing of psychology sessions. Fees are to be paid at the time of the consultation and receipts will be issued at this time. You can pay at the reception by cash, eftpos or credit card. Please speak with your psychologist if you have financial concerns or difficulties.
You do not need a referral to see a clinical psychologist, however patients may be eligible for Medicare rebate with a referral from your GP. Click here for more information.

Medicare, TAC, Workcover & Veterans Affairs all accepted with GP referral.
